Sometimes, unexpected accidents happen.
It can be anything, at this situation the car was left on neutral and rolled back straight into the garage door.
White wood over head garage door got smashed. The garage door was pretty old already and the extension springs, the rollers, and the cable were rusty.
The repair need was pretty obvious to us as we are experienced in garage door repair and installation.
To this customer as we needed to replace the whole garage door we recommended an isolated door to match our NY climate. Our customer complained that the old garage door had wind and cold coming through but with the new garage door we installed we solved that problem and the customer is extremely satisfied as she will be saving lots of money on her electric bill. Heating and cooling will be much cheaper and the new garage door will pay itself off.
